Exhibition "LINHA DE MAR de Cascais e Estoril"

Yesterday afternoon was the opening of the painting exhibition "LINHA DE MAR de Cascais e Estoril " *, in Junta de Freguesia de Cascais e Estoril Gallery, Cascais.
In this exhibition we present the paintings of my dear friend and painting teacher Josefa Vasconcellos and mine.
The subject is the line.
Geographic line as the works represent aspects of Cascais, in particular marine scenes and land landscapes, the sea.
And also the life line, represented by all the Josefa Vasconcellos family portraits ( 3rd and 4rd generation).
The exhibition is opened Monday to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Until Oct, 1st.

* "Cascais and Estoril SEA LINE".
This coastline in known as "The Line". There is a train line connecting Lisbon to Cascais that runs near Tagus river and sea shore.
