15th May - 12th July
Born in Mexico in a small town near Cidade do Mexico, 6th of July 1907, Frida Khalo is considered one of the greatest artists of the 20th century.
This Exhibition opens a window showing us the intimate life of the artist and present us Frida in private and public moments.
Kahlo had a volatile marriage with the famous Mexican artist Diego Rivera.
She suffered lifelong health problems, many caused by a traffic accident she survived as a teenager. Recovering from her injuries isolated her from other people, and this isolation influenced her works, many of which are self-portraits of one sort or another.
