Watercolourist, Antonio Giacomin was born in the Serra Gaúcha region, South of Brazil.
He was introduced in the universe of painting in 1980. He quit his Art college studies from the University of Caxias do Sul and went to the United States, México and Europe to improve his artistic skills.
In 2007 he launched the book "Poesias em Aquarela", an inventory of theme pictures resulting from trips taken to various regions in Rio Grande do Sul.
In 2012, together with Nivaldo Pereira, he launched the book "Jeitos de Ser Brasil", which shows different aspects of the brazilian culture.
In 2012, again in partnership, this time with Marcos Fernando Kirst, he launched first the book "Serra Gaúcha:Past and Present", and then the book "Insetolândia - Uma viagem ao redor do quintal”.
He won the competition to design the crown for the 2014 Grape Party.
He lives and works in Caxias do Sul where he has his studio.
Nowadays Antonio is a drawing and watercolour tutor in several workshops in Brasil and in other countries. Recently he was in Italy, Spain and Portugal teaching in watercolour workshops.
