Masterclass "Painting Human Figure" with Eudes Correia May 2021

This event took place in Cascais , in a studio in Hotel Baía in front of Cascais Bay.
The last day was plein air walking around Cascais.
In the studio we put some works by Eudes Correia on the wall that were used as examples for our workshop.
First day - Eudes Correia explained some concepts of light and shadow, volumes and connexions all important to proceed with the human figure drawing and painting
We started with a simple figure just to show this concepts.
The second day started with painting the face, how to make the colours of the skin, hair and shadows and volumes.
Great works from some participants and the last one from Eudes Correia.
Last day was plein air and we met at Marechal Carmona Park.
Eudes explained about composition and the importance of making a quick sketch before starting a painting.
We went to the Cascais marina where we had lunch.
After lunch we went to Sta Marta Lighthouse where we finished our workshop.
The group was so friendly and fun at the same time so interested and focused…
I Think they all learned a lot while making good friends with many affinities!
