The step by step of a traditional painting of a Portuguese tile:
Copy of the drawing to a vegetable paper
With a needle perforate the contour on the vegetable paper
After that, scrub with a graphite puppet the vegetable paper to pass the drawing to the tile.
Finally starts the painting…:)
Some works are already finished and ready to be fired in a kiln in a very high temperature to be glazed.
After the traditional tile, now everybody could paint his own free style and relaxing tile.
Other beautiful and colorful works after being fired…
This retreat is completely tailored to your personal needs; you can spend the whole day painting or you can just choose to paint in the morning and have the afternoons free to visit Cascais, Sintra or Lisbon.
