Masterclass "Lights and Shadows" in watercolour with Idoia Lasagabaster Oct 2021

This event took place in Cascais , in a studio in Hotel Baía in front of Cascais Bay.
The last day was plein air walking around Cascais.
Idoia is a fantastic Artist as well a great teacher and communicator. She is Spanish and we can works with a lot of passion!
She started to explain what are the most important elements for her when she starts a painting.
The first painting was simple to explain basic concepts.
The second painting, was a night seascape with a beautiful atmosphere. It seems difficult but with her everything turns magic and easy…
Second day - with a lot of water and a spectacular technic she started a port painting. She was always saying: no problem, nothing will happen, everything will be alright. In Spanish : “ No passa nada “ :). She motivated everybody and beautiful painting of a port appears.
Afternoon: First painting was a painting with snow.
An urban painting was the second exercise of the afternoon
The last morning was plain air. We went to Cascais Bay. The weather was foggy but Idoia did a beautiful painting with a lot of atmosphere!
After we walk to Marechal Carmona Park to the last painting.
There we did a photo of our nice group …
